Indi & The Vega's took the Battle of the Bands 15 winner title on 10/12/09 @ The Horn, beating Albany Down, Nemo & Awesome Feline infront of a sell-out crowd.

ALIAS was crowned winner with stiff competition from Fuel For Tired Minds, Trouble With Tuesday and Dirty Money.

The Blacklist won infront of a packed venue with stiff competition from Phantom Jack, Moses & THe Black Cats and Toxins.

The Battle Of The Bands 12

With Battle of the Bands 12 drawing to a close with Shotgun Alibi, The Black Hearts, Late Day Breakers and Canvas Wall in the Final in the final on Thursday 19th June, Battle of the Bands 13 Kicks off in July. Winner Late Day Breakers.

The Battle Of The Bands 14

The Horn, in St Albans, is looking for bands to enter it's 14th Battle of the Bands Competition, which starts in March. This event has become hugely successful (now in it's 12th year) and has helped bands from Herts, Beds and Bucks go on to greater things.

 

There are some great prizes up for grabs, The 4 Bands in the Final will win the following - Winner £500 cash plus the 3 runners up will receive £200 cash. Battle of the Bands 13 is sponsored by Relentless Energy Drink, who are also the main sponsors for Reading and Leeds festivals this year.

By entering the Battle of the Bands it gives you a great chance of winning one the great prizes plus it gives the judges and promoter the opportunity to see your band play live for other possible bookings.

Some great bands have entered The Horn Battle of the Bands in the past, notably Enter Shikari, The Subways, The Runners, Mohair, Expensive Habits, and Friendly Fires, are you next?

Even if you're not in a band but you like original music why not support local talent and pop down, soak up the atmosphere and cast a helping vote for the band of your choice.
